This cake was made for a big time Jersey Shore fan. Hand painted leopard spots and a hot pink bow and pearls! mmmmm delicious! :)

These super cute little dinosaurs were the topper for a little boy's birthday cake! the Stegosaurus is eating a leaf and the Triceratops is just happy to be a Triceratops!  

And this picture is my excuse for lack of posts. My new puppy Colt who is occupying most of my time! :)

Hello to anyone and everyone who reads my blog.
I apologise for my lack of bloggingness but I've been helping a friend of mine find homes for rescued dogs and in that time have become a puppy parent myself, and she is a handful!

Anyway since I am blogging from my iPod touch for the first time I have a minimal selection of photos of my cakes. And I also have no idea what I am doing. Lol

This one is a Remy Martin champagne bottle I made a few months back.

This cake is a magical trippy place where monsters, geraffes, elephants, and penguins all live together on a happy tie-dye island!! YAY!! the occasion for this cake, there were extras and i was trying to make figures! chocolate cake.. MmMmMmM YUMMY!!!

Steampunk / woodworking cake!! For those who don't know what it is its "a subgenre of science fiction and fantasy featuring advanced machines and other technology based on steampower of the 19th century and taking place in a recognizable historical period or a fantasy world." 

This grooms cake is an entire Mario level!! The sides of the cake take you through (what I remember of) an entire level although condensed. The cake is much too small for a full level!!  do-do-do, do-doot-do-doot, do-do da-do da-do da-da do-doot.  yea, I typed out Mario music.

Today I started on a steampunk cake!! I am so excited!! I cant wait till it's done so I can post pictures!! I know this blog is meant to be a portfolio, but I am just so excited!! but in order to keep your attention and keep this from getting too boring here is an adorable cake topper for a baby shower cake!!

Here are some orchids I have made, the top is supposed to be more realistic, while the bottom is more of a cartoon. Once again, they can be eaten if you want to. :) 

One of my favorite things to make, sugar flowers. this peony was put on a cake featured on the knot live, and the hosts of the show were discussing how amazing and realistic they look, and explained all the work involved. how each petal is made individually. Big time ego boost to hear that!! :)

These RIDICULOUSLY tiny baby shoes were made as the topper for baby shower cupcakes. yes that is a thimble. they were accompanied by baby bottles, and pacifiers. The cuteness level is just amazing. and it took a lot to resist the urge to stick my fingers in them and make them dance! do-do doot do-do dancin' little baby shoes!! hehe 

This was my first cake EVER!! This super cute little fishy spiraled me into the magical world of cake decorating. :) The hardest part was cutting it! but it was DELICIOUS!! (I made it for myself

About a month ago was my brother's birthday, he is totally OBSESSED with the video game red dead redemption. so I made him this! the flavors were chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and i touch of caramel. For the top tear, and the bottom tear was almond cake with almond buttercream. YUM!

I recreated the Saloon in Armadillo (a city in the game). The silly white duck was my added touch to remind my brother what a goofball he is. the other animals (left to right) are a bear a jackelope, and a rattle snake. (all edible)

the horse on the top is made from sculpey clay to it could be kept forever! 

WOO HOO my first blog post, I feel pretty prestigious, being a blogger, I feel like I should be sitting at starbucks with my hair pulled back and my glasses on. Except I hate starbucks, my hair is like 2 inches long, and I never wear my glasses. Lol. Wellll I made a blog to share my cake pictures, so I should probably attach one. 

The cake I attached is a Paisley cake with gerber daisies. yes everything on this cake CAN be eaten!! this is one of my favorite cakes I have done so far. More pictures of different things coming soon!!   :)
